Downloading and Installing DataGrader

The first step in installing DataGrader is to download the latest installer file from the Riverside DataManager Product Information webpage. The installer is approximately 40 MB in size and may take a few minutes to download. The length of time it takes you to download the file depends on the speed of your Internet connection.

To download the DataGrader software:

1.    Click here to go to the DataManager Product Information page, or enter the following URL in your browser:

2.    On the DataManager Product Information page, scroll down and click Online Testing Data Package. The list of downloadable resources appears.

3.    Scroll down and click DataGrader Software. The File Download - Security Warning dialog box appears.

4.    Click Run. The download begins. When the download is complete, an Internet Explorer - Security Warning dialog box appears.

Note: Allow a minimum of five minutes or more to download the DataGrader software, depending on the speed of your Internet connection.

5.    Click Run to start the installation. A message appears indicating installation has begun, and then the DataGrader Introduction screen appears.

6.    Click Next to continue and follow the instructions on your screen to choose an installation folder. Do one of the following:

      To use the default folder, click Next.

      To choose another folder in your file system, click Choose... and locate the folder in which you want the installation folder to reside. To go back to the default folder, click Restore Default Folder. Click Next.

The Pre-Installation Summary screen appears.

7.    Review the installation location and click Install to begin the installation. After a brief pause, the installer tells you that DataGrader has been installed.

8.    Click Done to close the installer window. The DataGrader icon appears on your desktop. You are ready to start DataGrader and configure it. See Configuring DataGrader.
