This version of DataManager online help was published November 23rd, 2020. It contains:

An explanation of warning messages added to the creation of CogAT Post-screener, Screening, and Complete test assignments.

Instructions for configuring and delivering tests through the new DataManager remote proctoring portal (DMRPP). This new remote delivery allows students to test remotely from their homes while DataManager Proctors carry out the assessment procedure, helping students sign in, monitoring the students as they test, and providing help through the Chat feature.

More recently:

Special instructions for combining online testing with paper-and-pencil testing for classrooms and districts that test using both modes.

  • For Iowa Assessments, two new estimated growth reports to predict performance after the Covid-19 school closures (from mid-March, 2020). Find them in the Create Reports > Iowa Assessments section of the online help—the new student report on its own line and the group report under the Group Profile reports heading.

  • A procedure for printing individual barcode labels for a small number of students taking a student override version of an OMR-administered test.

  • An introduction to the new CogAT Dashboard, a dynamic reporting tool that allows you to establish cut scores and analyze test results along subject domains and composites. National and local stanines are woven into other commonly used scores such as National Percentile Rank (NPR).
