Locations and rosters

The lower left table on the dashboard defaults to a score comparison across locations (school buildings or classes) or individual students, depending on the scope and privileges assigned to your user account. Users can browse locations or search by students or scores to find the information they need.

Use the search features at the top of the table to narrow the scope of your results. Sort rows in ascending or descending order by any of the table columns.

The Building Score Comparison table shows average scores across school buildings, first summary scores (SS and NPR), then domain scores for IowFlex English or Mathematics. A legend for score and level abbreviations appears below the table.

Group score comparison and roster

District-level users can select any school in the Building Score column to view SS, NPR, and domain scores for that school. Doing so reveals class-level comparisons for that building.

Dashboard building view

School-level users such as principals see an initial Class Score Comparison table that matches that of the district-level user who has selected their building. The unit of comparison is the classroom.

Domains along the right side of the page are replicated in the Class Comparison table. Mathematics domains, like reading domains, are replicated from the domain graphs on the right to the table headings. Administrators who set up the IowaFlex Mathematics assessments can choose up to five domains to measure; the domains vary somewhat across grade and test level. Shown here are all five domains for a 3rd-grade IowaFlex Mathematics assessment.

Classroom-level users, primarily teachers, see an initial dashboard view that lists the students rostered to their class(es).
