Change Your Password

IMPORTANT, MDS USERS: Before you attempt to synchronize data from BDI-2 NU Mobile Data Solution (MDS) with the Data Manager, you must follow these instructions to update your password in Data Manager and MDS. Make a note of both your old and new Data Manager passwords before beginning the MDS part of the process.

If you have not logged in to Data Manager since July 24, 2015, you will be prompted to change your password. You must follow the steps below to update the password in MDS before you are able to successfully synchronize data between MDS and Data Manager. The following steps apply to any user who has not yet completed this process.

Note: To comply with HIPAA and other privacy and security standards, each user is required to have his or her own login and password credentials. Users who currently share a login/password increase the likelihood of being locked out if one staff member changes the password and doesn't communicate the changed password with other team members. If you share a password with a teammate, please contact your organization’s administrator to have a new login created.

To update your login credentials for access to MDS:

1.    Go to Data Manager at https://www.bdi2datamanager.com/.

2.    In the Login ID field, type your username.

3.    In the Password field, type your current password.

4.    Click Login. If this is your first time logging in after July 24, 2015, you are prompted to change your password.

5.    Type a new password in the New password field. Note the following password criteria:

Password cannot be the same as your username.

Password must contain a minimum of three of the four standards listed below:

At least one number 0 through 9

      At least one non-alphanumeric character:

Password length must be 8-10 characters.

6.    Confirm your new password by typing it again in the Confirm new password field.
