DataManager provides the tools to create and manage online test sessions, both self-paced and proctor-led. These sessions can be administered at any time within the test event time frame.
Proctors* can conduct online test sessions for the following assessments:
● Iowa Assessments™ Forms E, F, and G
● Logramos™ Third Edition
● Cognitive Abilities Test™ (CogAT®) Forms 7 and 8
● IowaFlex™ Reading and Mathematics
*Proctoring may be conducted by individuals with the following DataManager roles and privileges: Proctor, Teacher, Administrator, Super Admin, or Account Holder.
For online testing, proctors and students move through the test by interacting with DataManager prompts. For example, a proctor opens a test session, allowing students to sign in; students sign in, causing their names to appear in the proctor's waiting-for-approval list; the proctor approves the students for testing. These prompts, actions, and triggers continue through the beginning of testing until students finish testing and the proctor closes the session.
Important: Once students begin testing in a given mode (online or OMR), they must complete the test in that mode. If a situation arises that necessitates switching from online to OMR or vice versa, students must start again from the beginning and complete the entire assessment using only one mode of testing.
